Join the ICAA and Catholic University for a drawing class focused on essential and expressive rendering techniques. The instructors will guide students through the use of drawing from quick observational and iterative design sketches to refined illustration and presentation drawing techniques. Essential topics will include composition, perspective, linework and shading, light and shadow, context and entourage, and digital post processing techniques. Beyond hands-on instruction through instructor demonstrations and student exercises, the instructors will share their personal creative methodologies, introducing students to the great artists and sources of inspiration that shape their approach to drawing. This course is aimed at benefiting both beginners and experienced artists.
