Join the ICAA and Ed Gerns, a Senior Principal at Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, Inc. with extensive experience in the investigation and repair of deteriorated and distressed conditions in existing buildings, particularly historic masonry structures as he gives A brief history of the use of architectural terra cotta as a building material. He will also discuss exterior cladding. The presentation will include the evolution of installation detailing in cladding systems and the fabrication processes and methods used historically as well as today.
Class will take place via Zoom and will include a presentation with Q&A.
