Join the ICAA for a day of exploring Classical Richmond. We’ll start at sponsor McKinnon & Harris for a tour of their factory and classical grand tour collection with a break for lunch. Following we’ll be touring 4 private houses.

First stop will be the Branch Museum designed by John Russell Pope with our knowledgeable guide Gibson Worsham who will talk about Pope’s design influences.

Next we’ll move down the street to the Taylor House designed by Duncan Lee in 1915. Susan Reed from Glavé & Holmes who recently restored the house will guide us through the work done to bring this house back to life.

Third we’ll visit the Monument by Green Front, a Mediterranean house designed by William Bottomley currently being renovated by its homeowner who will give us a construction tour.

Fourth we’ll drive to Windsor Farms to see a poolhouse designed to accompany a William Bottomley residence recently built by Glavé & Holmes. Randy Holmes will talk about the design process and how Bottomley was an inspiration

Last, we’ll adjourn to sponsor Wellborn & Wright for a tour of their space, closing remarks, and hors d’oeuvres.
