DC War Memorial
Columns & Coffee is a monthly social sketching excursion led by the L’Enfants, the emerging architects, branch of the ICAA WMA. Anyone with an interest in sketching and/or connecting with other artists and architects are encouraged to attend. This month’s outing will be at the DC War Memorial in West Potomac Park. This simple, open-air Doric temple is an ideal structure for architects looking to “shake the rust off” their sketching hands. Participants should be prepared to bring their own materials.
We will meet at the Starbucks at 20th and E St NW at 10am (a twenty-minute walk from the site). We will be sketching for about 2.5-3 hours, but people are welcome to come and go as necessary.
This event is FREE and open to the public.
