Social Sketching: Columns & Coffee at the National Cathedral

Saturday December 3, 2016
10:00am - 1:00pm

Washington National Cathedral
3101 Wisconsin Ave NW

Columns & Coffee is a monthly social sketching excursion led by the L’Enfants, the emerging architects branch of the ICAA-WMA. Anyone with an interest in sketching and/or connecting with other artists and architects is encouraged to attend. This month, we will be sketching at the Washington National Cathedral on Wisconsin Ave NW. Officially dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul, this Episcopalian Cathedral is known for its art and sculpture depicting both Biblical figures and historic Americans. Access to the grounds is free, but admission into the cathedral itself is $12.00. Participants should be prepared to bring their own materials. We will meet at Starbucks at the corner of Wisconsin and Idaho Aves NW at 10:00am. We will be sketching for about 2.5-3 hours, but people are welcome to come and go as they please.
