Saturday, February 17th
9:45 AM - 12:45 PM

Anderson House
2118 Massachusetts Ave, NW

We will meet at Soho Tea & Coffee at P and 22nd at 9:45am.
Please note the earlier than normal meeting time, in order to join the first tour at 10:15am.

Columns & Coffee is a monthly social sketching excursion led by the L’Enfants, the emerging architects branch of the ICAA Washington Mid Atlantic Chapter.

Anyone with an interest in sketching and/or connecting with other artists and architects is encouraged to attend.

This month, we will be touring the interior of the Anderson House. Attendees may consider doing quick vignette sketches while touring, but most of our sketching time will be spent outside (weather-permitting).

Designed by the Boston-based firm Little & Brown, the historic Beaux-Arts mansion opened in 1905 as the winter residence of American diplomat Larz Anderson. Anderson was a member of the Society of the Cincinnati-America’s oldest patriotic organization – and donated the house to that organization after his death.

Participants should be prepared to bring their own materials.

Cost: Free. RSVP is required.
