Join us for a private tour of one of our nation’s oldest Masonic buildings, Masons’ Hall in Shockoe Bottom.
Built between 1785 – 1787, this unique building is one of Virginia’s most historic frame buildings. At the time of its listing on the National Register of Historic Places, it was the oldest Masonic building in the United States that was built as a Masonic meeting place and used continuously for that purpose. The hall incorporates a wide range of classical and neo-classical details and decorative wall and ceiling painting. This historic institution is closed to the general public, but will be opened for our visit. Our exclusive tour will be guided by lodge’s leadership with discussion of the building’s grand history and some of the rituals that take place there.
Cost: $5 for ICAA Members / $10 for Non-Members
