Join the ICAA Washington Mid Atlantic Chapter for popular lunchtime tour of John Russell Pope’s House of the Temple for the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry.
The building was completed in 1915 and modeled after the tomb of the Mausolus at Halicarnassus. The design won Pope the Gold Medal of the Architectural League of New York in 1917 and has made the lists of his most important buildings ever since.
