Maryland State House
100 State Circle
Annapolis, MD 21401
Start the day with a private tour by the Maryland Historic Trust of the Old Senate Chambers in the Maryland State house. Original construction of the Maryland State House began in 1772, the rooms of the Old Senate Chambers have been recently restored to their 1783 appearance when the National Congress was meeting there.
A short walk down the street is the Hammond-Harwood house dating to 1774. Designed by William Buckland, it serves as one of the finest examples of Colonial classicism in the country and the earliest existing house inspired by Palladio in the United States.
Lunch will be served in the gardens of the Harwood-Hammond house with 3 catered choices from local favorite Chick & Ruth’s Delly.
Lastly we will cross the Severn River to Ferry Farms which has stunning views of downtown Annapolis. We will tour a private home designed by Good Architecture PC, interior design by Mona Hajj Interiors, landscape design by Graham Landscape Architecture, and built by Winchester Construction.
