Columns & Coffee is a monthly social sketching excursion led by the L’Enfants, the emerging architects branch of the ICAA-WMA.
Anyone with an interest in sketching and/or connecting with other artists and architects are encouraged to attend.
This month, we will be sketching at the National Postal Museum. Designed by Ernest R. Graham, this building replaced the Old Post Office on Pennsylvania Ave as Washington’s main post office in 1914. Since 1993, it has been a part of the Smithsonian network of museums.
Participants should be prepared to bring their own materials. We will meet at the Pret A Manger in Union Station at 10:00am. We will be sketching for about 2.5-3 hours, but people are welcome to come and go as they please.
