A Stroll Down the Architectural Continuum

The Inevitability of Precedent, The Origins of Inspiration

Thursday, October 13th
6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

St. John's ~ Georgetown
3240 O Street NW
Washington, DC 20016

Join the ICAA Washington Mid Atlantic Chapter as David Schwarz, Founder and Chairman of David M. Schwarz Architects, Inc. presents an examination of the role of precedent in architecture. The place from which inspiration is derived is not always obvious, but it always originates from somewhere. Mr. Schwarz’s lecture will explore the origins of precedent in architecture through the millennia, including some examples from his firm’s work.

The lecture will be followed by a book signing of David M. Schwarz Architects’ recently released third monograph, “David M. Schwarz Architects: 2008 – 2014.”
